Other news: AWARE fundraiser recap

AWARE party-goers were asked to raise their hands if they had first, second, or third generation immigration experiences. Most, if not all, hands went up!

On October 25, NWNY’s work was celebrated at the fundraising party thrown by Assisting Women through Action, Resources & Education (AWARE). We thank our generous partners at AWARE for the fabulous evening, where party-goers were able to enjoy food, cocktails, auction items, and speeches by two of our very own LEAD graduates!

AWARE is a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting awareness and generating funds in order to make meaningful improvements in the lives of women and girls in the New York City community and worldwide.
