Binny Rosario

Program Coordinator, We Speak We LEAD (Spring 2024)

Binny likes to get things done, effectively and swiftly, and always welcomes a worthy challenge. She is passionate about empowering immigrant women through dynamic workshops and community support, driven by a strong belief in the transformative power of equal opportunities and resources that allow women to reach their full potential.

Binny holds a Master’s Degree in International Business, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Project Management Certificate from Google. Her experiences include the practice of law, business administration, and serving as a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic.

She is a voracious reader and considers libraries and bookstores among her favorite places wherever she goes. She is also a music enthusiast, in-tuned with current pop as well as world music. Binny is always on a journey to learn a new language.

Blanca Belllini Vanegas-Cisneros

Workshop Facilitator, Bridge to LEAD Program (May-Dec 2024)

Originally from El Salvador, Blanca joined New Women New Yorkers in 2023 as a Bridge to LEAD participant. She holds a degree in Business Administration from El Salvador and a specialization in Project Management.

Blanca is passionate about helping people and has professional experience in banking, where she attended a Women and Their Role as a Lead workshop. This experience inspired her to promote organizational dedication and fairness.

Blanca enjoys running in the park, which helps her relax and connect with nature. She also loves baking various desserts.

Darma Gabriela Riveros Gonzalez

Workshop Facilitator, Bridge to LEAD Program (May-Dec 2024)

With a passion for respectful parenting and fostering healthy individuals, Darma is dedicated to supporting the development of immigrant women within their families and society.

Darma’s background as a former criminal lawyer allows her to understand how past experiences influence present behavior. Transitioning into a mental health specialist, she earned a Master’s degree in Holistic Psychology. She co-founded a respectful parenting community, providing daily virtual support to mothers for four years. Darma has also facilitated personal development programs and offered individual counseling and group mentoring.

Darma enjoys yoga, skating, swimming, and mountain climbing. She loves spending time with her daughters, connecting with their feelings, and educating them in respect and love.

Florencia V Cariddi

Workshop Facilitator, Bridge to LEAD Program (May-Dec 2024)

Florencia is deeply committed to creating safe spaces for historically marginalized groups, such as immigrants, women, and refugees. As a woman, mother, and immigrant herself, she understands the importance of fostering such environments.

With a diverse background, Florencia has worked across Latin America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on various design and artistic projects. She has always valued self-management and collaborative work, which led her to direct her own artistic academy.

Florencia is an avid admirer of musicals, horror movies, and good books. Her favorite hobby is spending quality time with her son.

Leidy Ortiz

Program Coordinator, Bridge to LEAD (May-Dec 2024)

Leidy has always been deeply involved in empowering women and girls, promoting their growth through education and access to information. She has also educated immigrants in the restaurant sector about labor rights. With over 15 years of experience as a project manager, Leidy combines a background in telecommunications engineering and academia for a cross-functional, interpersonal approach to strategic execution.

Leidy is passionate about education, culture, and nature. In her free time, she enjoys exploring parks and museums with her daughter. She is also a coffee lover.

Maria Isabel Dicent

Workshop Facilitator, Bridge to LEAD Program (Winter 2024, May-Dec 2024)

As an immigrant, Maria empathizes with the challenges faced by others in similar situations. Her journey has instilled in her the confidence to support and connect with fellow immigrants.

Maria holds a degree in Communication Studies from Sacred Heart University of Puerto Rico and has experience working in the public sector with the Office of Special Communities of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. In her free time, she has collaborated with several non-profit organizations.

Maria loves reading, writing, listening to 80s and country music, dancing, and cooking.
